What's next for Acclimate
Hello and happy Saturday!
There’s been a few tweaks to Acclimate over the past few weeks, so I wanted to give you an update and sneak peek of what’s to come.
This newsletter started out as a hobby to help me learn more about climate tech. Now that we have almost 3,500 subscribers, I want to try to turn it into a real thing.
Here’s what to expect…
#1 - We’re going daily!
We’re now on week two of sending every weekday. So far, feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
My goal is to keep you informed on the latest in climate business, tech, and policy with an easily digestible, 5-minute daily email, without triggering doom and gloom or information overload.
➡️ To help improve the overall quality and context of the newsletter, please take 2 minutes to fill out this survey. I’d really appreciate it.
#2 - Dive deeper
The original focus of Acclimate (formerly known as Climate Tech Brief) was deep dives on different climate tech solutions.
A few of the most popular issues were on:
These are fun to create and a great way to educate on the variety of climate solutions available while sticking to the 5-minute or less promise.
I’d like to start doing more “a primer on X” for different climate solutions, verticals, and sectors. But I want to collaborate with industry experts, founders, and other climate leaders who know more than I do.
➡️ If there’s a climate topic you fancy yourself an expert on or are particularly passionate about, let’s talk.
#3 - Sponsorships
My goal is to keep Acclimate 100% free.
The more people we have following the clean energy transition, the better. To keep Acclimate free, and make this a real thing, we need sponsors.
➡️ If you’d like to reach an audience of 3,500+ business leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers, learn more here.
#4 - Make connections
One of the best parts of running a newsletter is the connections you make with like-minded people.
That is especially true in the climate world, where it takes a variety of industry leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, investors, nonprofits, cities, and more to move decarbonization forward.
I want to share what the people and organizations on the frontlines of the clean energy transition are up to.
That can be via…
Q&A on your climate project or passion
Deep dive into your area of expertise
General partnership or support
➡️ If any of the above peaks your interest, or you just want to talk shop, let’s find a time to chat.
Most of all, I want this newsletter to have a small but increasingly meaningful impact our global efforts to build, deploy, and decarbonize.
Every time you open an email from us, I want you to learn what is driving the clean energy transition forward and why, in an easily digestible read that won’t make you feel like we’re all going to die.
That’s it! If you have any questions or feedback, just reply to this email.
